Injury prevention runs on measurement, not guesswork. Track three areas regularly and most injuries can be seen coming.
A significant share of injuries in licensed athletes are non-contact and preventable. Prevention is an approach built on regular measurement, not luck.
Sudden jumps in weekly training load are one of the strongest predictors of injury; it can be tracked even with a simple log.
A strength difference of more than 10% between the right and left leg or shoulder is linked to raised injury risk on that side; regular testing catches that gap early.
A fault in basic movement patterns such as a squat or a single-leg hop points to specific injury risks and directs targeted corrective exercise.
Measuring these three areas at the start of the season identifies in advance which athletes need closer monitoring through the season.
