04 — Process

How we work

The first session is detailed and systematic. The programme is decided only once the assessment is complete.

  1. 01

    Assessment

We talk through your complaint, your health history and any sport you play. Posture and movement are analysed; joint range of motion, muscle strength and muscle length are assessed. Specific neurological and orthopaedic tests are applied where needed, and any MRI or X-ray results are reviewed together.

  2. 02

    A programme built for you

Rather than standard protocols, a programme is built around you and your goal. Manual therapy, exercise therapy and other evidence-based physiotherapy methods are combined as appropriate.

  3. 03

    Follow-up and return

The programme is updated as it progresses. For athletes, return to the field is considered complete once sport-specific movements can be performed with confidence; for other clients, it's complete once the risk of the complaint recurring has dropped.

In the gym

Rehabilitation doesn't end in the treatment room — it's completed in the gym.

Strength, loading and return-to-sport work is carried out in the clinic's own exercise gym.

What they say

“I first contacted him around four years ago with severe lower back pain and problems related to a herniated disc in my neck. Over fifteen sessions he applied different techniques to different areas each time I went. Honestly, every session was a little harder and tougher for me. But the stretching work he did at the end of each session released the joints and muscles. That was probably my favourite part. Yes, my pain is gone and I stand more upright, but he also convinced and motivated me to keep up with sport after the sessions ended. Even though more than four years have passed, he has never cut off contact and still checks whether I'm doing my exercises. If I had to give a short piece of advice: if you value yourself, the nicest thing you can do is take a session with Bilal hoca. Even if you have no complaints at all, it's worth going just to treat yourself.”

“Bilal Kara is one of the best physiotherapists I've known... He treats you superbly; he really is an extremely attentive specialist. I had a herniated disc in my neck and loss of the neck's curve, and it came with dizziness. Thankfully I recovered. I recommend him to everyone, and I do. I'm glad we met.”

Frequently asked

Common questions

  • The first session is given to assessment: we listen to the history of your complaint, review any imaging you bring, then measure joint range, muscle strength, balance and movement. The programme is written from those measurements and goals are set together.
